Today's question began when I was thinking about how we spend our money and time. It was a a huge reality check moment when I heard the statistic that with one-third of all the money spent on this last US war every person in the entire world could have a nice house with all the amenities and even a swimming pool. We spend an obscene amount of money to stay 'safe' while the quality of life gets worse and worse. Which means crime, war, and all things unwanted increase. So we spend more on war and defense. And not on food and shelter. It seem obvious, and yet.... Here is the more detailed version in today's podcast: But this idea is more than the huge stuff, it is also in the little things. We are told we no longer need to know how to write, just type. Yet, the studies show us differently. How many other examples of this can we find? Follow the money as they say!
The bottom line is TRUTH is not perception, belief, or science. All of those have your filter or view factored in. But truth is truth at its very core. People need shelter and food. People don't need war. Take your own reality check today as you observe where, how, when, and on what you spend your money and invest your time. Is it a truth that sets you free or just keeps telling you both what you want to hear and already know? Reality is hard some days.
