The bible tells a story of a shepherd who had 100 sheep. 99 came home. One got lost. He went looking for the one that was lost.
From a business perspective it makes no sense to risk the 99 to save the one. But what if you were that one? Would you want to be valuable enough for someone to find you?
The two things I have done very well in my life is first, to not end it no matter how hard or painful. And secondly, to not waver when someone else was ready to end theirs.
Death doesn't scare me. Living sometimes does.
But you can't really value life until you get very close to death - be it yours or another's.
Now that I am well past the 1/2 way mark to this life I never in a million years would have thought so much of it would be spent in the face of both feeling wildly suicidal and uncomfortably close to survival.
This was not my plan!
Yet, here I am. And now, I hope to be here for you. This is an idea the world may not value - there is no money to be made or fame to be had.
But if just one person finds the way to both live and survive, does that have value?
Are you that one person?
I have learned the best we can offer each other is to just show up and not judge. Funny how hard it is to find others to do both!
For this moment I am glad you showed up. Thank you. And I hope to see you back in 24 hours.
Something went wrong!
This site is run by a human, not an APP. It's hard showing up every day, but that is what it takes. I am so glad you are here! Jill
