I know this seems like a silly question and to some, it is.
But THINK about it - how many people do you know who actually want to think, to ask questions, to learn, to grow, to discover, to consider changing their beliefs or how they live? You can listen to the discussion below on the The Journey with Jill Podcast Today and if you want to think more about thinking as the starting place for survival, purpose, meaning and more in your life, I am so glad you are here!
The bigger issue we talk about and I am asking you to be willing to also think about is - what are you afraid of thinking about?
Fear is the great inhibitor of thought because if we don't know something we are not responsible for it. At least that is what we may be telling our selves.
To know means we now must decide to do, not do, deny, or begin the finger pointing process that has become so popular!
I want you to think because when you do you become an active participant in OUR survival and life is no longer something we each are trying to do on our own. Plus it allows us to let go of the belief we need to be responsible for those who can think, but don't want to. The exception is fairly there are those who just can't and need some help in this life.
So.... if you want to think and then write about in your journal, here are a few thoughts to get you started:
There are no easy answers here, but life isn't about getting it all sorted and then being done - it is a JOURNEY!!!! I know you know that, but a reminder now and then is always helpfule!
This is the audio from the podcast, but something more to 'think' about!
This is the song "Think" by Aretha Franklin. I put it up as a link with the lyrics to make a point, truth is truth is truth whether you are talking about a romantic partner or world domination by a corporate elite. And if we don't think, we will never have Freedom.... Link Here ( can't embed, sorry )
