Here we are again, back at the most fundamental question I can think of. But also the most important because how you answer guides every aspect of your journey.
I have been on this quest in my own life to pick just one thing to focus on. How? I know, really? But everything is simpler when there is focus and clarity and this very basic issue of LIFE comes up again and again in forms to numerous to mention.
It is important to me as we both walk this journey to not tell you WHAT to think or believe or even how. What I most want for you is to just want to think and make decisions that are yours. Not under the influence of others, just yours.
And the only way we can really truly know what we think is to question, compare, contrast, and experience LIFE.
Below is the link I covered in the podcast about this man's perspective and what strikes me most is how much that is hidden about the extremism in the radical of Islam from the West. Here is a link to the website from Raymond Ibrahim on the Middle East.
In the same way one parent often doesn't want to know what the other parent is doing to their child, most of us don't really want to know what is happening to others. When we know, we are then accountable in some way.
And yet, how can anything ever change if we are not willing to not only know, but to be accountable for what we now know?
My goal is for you to be here now and stop. Focus. Choose.
What do you want your life to be about? Who do you want to be? What does it mean to you to VALUE LIFE?
If we don't take the moments we have access to every day to refocus and commit to what we want we will never have the discipline to achieve mastery of anything we value. How could we?
Thank you for choosing to Be Here Now with me! But more importantly thank you for choosing to want to. Desire is the fuel to all of this and if you don't WANT to value life - yours and all life - the road you travel will be a hard one with very little meaning or purpose.
Something went wrong!
This site is run by a human, not an APP. It's hard showing up every day, but that is what it takes. I am so glad you are here! Jill
